Abstract

Information and communication technologies in the educational field have allowed the continuity of education in times of pandemic, for this, the teaching digital competence has become an issue that requires immediate attention, to ensure learning, especially in education students basic, in a remote education. In this sense, the objective is to analyze the digital competence of teachers in regular basic education. The methodology that was applied consisted of searching for information in various bibliographic sources. The search was carried out between July and August 2021 using the Google Academic search engine, various bases such as Scielo, Scopus, Dialnet, Latindex, subsequently a selection was made of the information sources that are closest to addressing the topic of teaching digital competence in Basic Education. The results indicate that the digital competence of most teachers is partially developed. It was concluded that it is necessary for the Ministry of Education to prioritize the digital skills of teachers so that they function adequately in the digital world and face the new educational challenges that technologies pose in the attention of digital native users.
