Abstract

Wythe purpose to bring a methodology to the treatment of patriotic traditions as historical content, the article shows as an antecedent, the second level students´ behavior at October 21st Elementary School, in Bayamo municipality, Cuba that differs from the educational pretentions to form students within the patriotic traditions. The main methods used were observation to lessons, interview, evaluation by expert criterion and socialization workshop. The proposal suggests content, actions, procedures, teaching aids, ways of organization and evaluation that might be used during teaching- learning process. In it are integrated three dimensions: cognitive, emotional and behaviour during three stages; Organization and condition creation, Projection towards the methodology construction, Socialization and Evaluation of the treatment of patriotic traditions. In elaboration it was outstanding the roll of teachers and those who has to do with the direction of the process in the elementary school, selected for this work, and it is evident a change in the students behaviour.
